Handwriting Meme 002: After the 24 Hr Read-a-Thon

I don’t know why this seemed like a good idea, but I was curious to see the effects of sleep deprivation on handwriting. Which, is obviously beneficial.

(Anyhoozits, for the low down, see the first handwriting meme post.)

Now? Time to pass out for the next 10 hours.

Two things. First, I love that you posted notes after a 28-hour reading bender. The left-hand right-hand exercise was interesting. If I wrote left handed, I bet it would look like something from a four-year-old. Of course, now I’ll have to see.

    Very inventive, this.

And second, the first comment here reads like spam. Beware.

Anyway, thanks for the very cool post!

    Best,

      Joe,
First, thank you. And I say you should try it (writing with the non-dominant hand) and see what happens–you might surprise yourself. :D

Second, thank you again for spotting the spam. I had to lower my spam filter threshold because I’d received complaints from people getting errors when trying to comment, so I have to be extra-vigilant.

By the way, love your photographs.

  2. I applaud you for staying up for 28 hours straight AND self-initiating a handwriting challenge. Nice job!
