90 Second Review: Hannah (Daughters of the Sea) by Kathryn Lasky

Hannah (Daughters of the Sea) coverI wish there had been more splash to this mermaid tale (sorry for the bad pun), but little happens by way of character growth or plot development, and right when it seems something worthwhile is beginning, the book ends. Abrupt stop. It’s not a bad story, nor horribly told, nor poorly written, however, beyond that there’s nothing to truly recommend it.

Personal rating: 3/5
